內容: 邀請荷蘭萊登大學魏希德教授（Hilde de Weerdt）分享研究經驗

簡介：

魏希德教授為荷蘭萊登大學區域研究/中國史研究所教授，主要研究方向有中國思想史、資訊網路、數位人文研究等，聚焦在帝國時期之中國菁英階層社會關係網絡如何影響政治發展等議題的研究和教學。

魏教授曾參與美國哈佛大學包弼德教授主持的《中國歷代人物傳記資料庫》（CBDB）建置計畫，近年除了與Brent/Hou Ieong Ho合作開發可應用於中國古典文本之閱讀分析的數位研究工具《MARKUS：Classical Chinese Text Analysis and Reading Platform》 外，同時也致力於如何在研究教學過程中應用數位工具的教學推廣工作；主要研究計畫包括有：Communication and Empire、Digging into Data：Automating Chinese Text Extraction。

魏教授著有Competition over Content: Negotiating Standards for the Civil Service Examinations in Imperial China (1127-1276) (2007)、《宋代研究書籍指南修訂版》(2008)、Knowledge and Text Production in an Age of Print：China, 900- 1400 (2011，與Lucille Chia合編)，近期還將出版Information, Territory, and Elite Networks: The Crisis and Maintenance of Empire in Song China。（訊息來源：國立臺灣大學數位人文中心網站）
